Who is AMJ Web?

Hi my name is Andrea Jackson and I am the web developer for AMJ Web. I am an experienced coder with more than 28 years in the IT industry having recently moved into the exciting world of web development. Whilst relatively new to web development I bring a wealth of experience. I pride myself on providing high quality work and will develop for you a website that meets all your needs. All websites are custom coded to match your design, built with flexibility and responsiveness in mind so that your website looks great across all platforms and mobile devices.

At present I am only taking on development work for individuals and small businesses that do not have a requirement for e-commerce (ie. no shopping carts).

Do you offer web design services?

While I am happy to help with design ideas I do not provide a web design service. You will need to have at least a basic design in mind and be able to provide all content you want included on your site.

How much will a new website cost?

The cost of developing a new website can vary depending on what you require to be included on your website. Pricing starts at $500 for a basic static responsive website that would consist of up to 5 pages and work on all modern browsers. Think of a brochure and this is what a basic static website would be like. So no bells and whistles and no CMS(content management system) for you to do your own updates.

Listed below are some examples of extra add-ons that may increase the cost:

displaying your social media content on your site (eg. twitter, facebook, instagram posts)
image slideshows
large amount of content requiring reformatting/resizing
contact forms
blogs
special coding to cater for old browsers
ongoing maintenance

Can you build me a wordpress website?

Yes new Wordpress websites can be built, existing Wordpress websites can be updated or a Wordpress blog can be added to your existing non-wordpress website.

Can you manage updates to my website for me?

Yes I can provide this service for you.

I already have a website, can you make some changes?

I certainly can have a look at your website and from there decide whether or not I can make changes for you. I will not embark on changing a website unless I am confident the change can be achieved without too much re-writing of the existing code.
